1962

Born in London.

Studied at the Central school of Art and Design Then with William Ware, (War Artist, d. 1997) for 10 years, an old fashioned training studying Old Master Techniques, Classical Painting and Drawing.

1982-87

Trained as a mime artiste, also studied dance improvisation and Commedia del'Arte. Performed in South Africa, Europe and UK doing Street Theatre, Cabaret, schools, and festivals, with A Fist of Fools, The Unfortunati, and Trestle Theatre. Designed Puppets, props, masks and brochures.

1986 to present date:

Exhibitions in galleries around London, Paris and the U.K. Both mixed and one man shows. Commissioned work hanging in private homes and hotels, in Belgium, Antibes, Mexico, Antwerp and Amsterdam,( a set of Rembrandt copies). The works are in a variety of mediums: prints, oils, watercolours and murals.

Artist in Residence at two LIFT Festivals, The Place and Beyond Words at the Hawth Crawley.

Draws regularly at Sadlers Wells and Circus Space. Supports and donates work to charity, and was a voluntary teacher at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital School and painted for free, a mural for the neo-natal unit at the Mile End Rd Hospital.
